At the GÉANT TNC23 Conference, I presented the SIEVA project during the SIG-CIIS Cloud Framework side meeting, contributing to discussions on secure and scalable cloud infrastructures for the research and education community.
SIEVA is an initiative focused on enhancing cybersecurity capabilities through advanced data analytics and cloud-based frameworks. The project aims to provide organisations with improved visibility into security events and user behaviour, enabling more effective detection of risks and optimisation of security operations in distributed environments.
During the session, I showcased how SIEVA leverages data-driven approaches to support decision-making in cybersecurity, integrating multiple data sources and analytical techniques to strengthen situational awareness. The presentation also highlighted the role of collaborative research and shared infrastructures in addressing emerging challenges in cloud security across European research networks.
This contribution aligned with the objectives of the SIG-CIIS community, promoting innovation in cybersecurity information sharing and cloud-based security services within the GÉANT ecosystem.
